Senate 1062 Bill Vetoed

We as human beings have been granted  life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. While some people base their life on these principles, others may feel like the government is trying strip away the rights giving to them by the creators of the Declaration of Independence.

It was another victory for gay right activists Wednesday when Governor of Arizona, Jan Brewer announced that she vetoed Senate Bill 10-62. Brewer said the bill will create more problems then it purports to solve to the revision of Arizona. The bill would  have allowed businesses to refuse service to gays and others based on religious beliefs.

Senate Bill 1062 is an Arizona Bill that was created to changed a law already in place giving homosexual individuals an exemption from any state law if it took away their rights to practice religion.
